		<description><![CDATA[Surviving the first months of new parenthood can be a challenge for the inexperienced. Seattle and Bellvue and the surrounding communities offer numerous resources to create supportive networks. While the focus is parenting, the secondary emphasis varies. Some encourage exercise, sharing medical resources, exchanging babysitting  within a co-op, and any topic a parent can imagine. Without the traditional extended family nearby, friends and neighbor relationships become even more important. Parents often create networks of new friends and e-neighbors on-line to help support in areas most needed.]]></description>
