THE MUST-HAVE Skills:

1. NEAT & ORDERLY – Both in organizing our physical orders, and for complex sorting of digital files
2. Advanced Photoshop (2 solid years, not semesters!) with a “before and after” portfolio
3. Must have skills for improving composition, contrast, color balance, saturation, clarity, vibrancy, and implementing artistic enhancements and retouching in a time-efficient manner, preferable using Adobe Camera Raw then Photoshop
4. Very comfortable with Adobe Camera RAW and/or Photo Mechanic
5. Learns new software easily
6. Quality check and reprint orders on own accord
7. Personable phone manner primarily to clarify client questions regarding image orders
8. FTP images

PREFERRED Skills

1. Posting blog entries and updating websites
2. Knowledge of Photo Mechanic
3. Create slideshows for clients, events, and web/blog content
4. Fulfillment of print, wall portrait and album orders efficiently
5. Thorough software, hardware purchasing research
6. Communication skills: writing, design concepts
7. Layout design

PERSONAL Skills:

1. EXTREMELY detailed to keep track of many complex multi-step orders
2. Positive, personable attitude
3. Team Player
4. Self-motivated
5. Multi tasker
6. Consistent and thorough- Applies copyright information each time, burns backups each order, etc.
7. Flexibility, as digital workflow is ever-evolving and a small business needs change regularly

Pay begins at $14 – $16/hour 15-20 hours during regular working hours DOE. 2 year commitment minimum, after which time benefits begin for those with 20+ hours, including retirement and paid vacation.
