Today I Photographed a Favorite Subject – An Enthusiastic Teen at The Olympic Sculpture Park!
Tweens and Teens are fascinating. We are not locked in to illustrating “who I am”, but rather we experiment with “who I might be”. There is no one more creative, willing, fun to photograph! Alena is the best of the best. This day the temperature screamed “Wool Coat”, not silk dress. Her dainty cocktail dress sophistication comes later at the Bat Mitzvah celebration. Now we climbed on grills, racks and embankments. The wind tousled her adorable curls into her eyes and mouth. Trooper that Alena is, we were able to finish the session with smiles still on our faces, even though her goose bumps where as high as neighboring Queen Anne Hill.

It was a blustery cold day, but the two of you quickly developed a warm relationship and made a great pair. Alena was extremely comfortable with you and all the cameras, and she blossomed in front of them. We will both remember the day of wind, outfits, falling off the bike rack and shivering in the spring sun!
I LOVE THE PICTURES!!! We’ve had quite the collection of cold days, but great weather! Party is tomorrow night, can’t wait! 3rd session coming up! The pictures are so great, thanks so much and it’s been great working with you.
